A Room Where the Wind Shifts — Tears Before Words Arrive

Just by hanging a painting,

I am often told,

"The atmosphere in the room has changed."

There are moments when tears won’t stop for no apparent reason.

A sudden ease washes over your shoulders as you enter a room.

Someone in the family smiles, naturally, without knowing why.

Stories like these are sent to me again and again.

But in truth, these moments—where something indescribable is felt—

don’t happen only before art.

For example,

stepping into a new place for the first time.

Spending time with someone dear after a long while.

Or when, out of nowhere, your chest grows warm—

We all sense invisible currents of air,

the moods of a place,

even if we can’t explain them.
